A number of clubs are associated with Calshot Activities Centre and enjoy the facilities on offer. These clubs often occupy overlapping areas of the Calshot site and work harmoniously to manage the needs of their members.

Calshot Caravan & Camping Club

Calshot Caravan & Camping Club is a members only Club situated on Calshot Spit, offering stunning views over the Solent and towards the Isle of Wight. Enjoy a gentle stroll along the beach, watch the boats and cruise liners on the Solent, take a paddle in the water or just sit back and relax.

Calshot Angling Club

The Calshot Angling Club was established in 1982 and is a members only club based on the spit at Calshot Activities Centre. It's great to fish from this shallow, sheltered south-east facing shingle beach at the mouth of Southampton Water on the edge of the beautiful New Forest National Park.

Calshot Windsurfing Club is the premier members-only club at Calshot Spit. At high tide, the lagoon is great for beginners & improvers & is a great place for kitesurfing, SUP & kayaking so why not pop along and give us a try!

Calshotcats Sailing Club is a Catamaran and Monohull sailing club located in a glorious position, right at the end of Calshot Spit. It is at the junction of Southampton Water and the Solent. We have a mixture of boats and our slipway is usable at any stage of the tide. Why not join us for a great day's sailing!

Calshot Youth Ski

Calshot Youth Ski

Calshot Youth Ski Club is operated independently of Calshot Activities Centre but uses their slopes. A revolutionary new surface covers the slopes making them easy to ski on and softer to fall on. With lifts and floodlights, this is an excellent environment to learn the basics and develop new skills.

National Coastwatch

National Coastwatch

Calshot NCI station's area of responsibility extends as far as the watchkeepers can see. This can be as close as the coastline visible from the tower, including the more immediate surroundings of Fawley and Calshot itself but on a clear day this reaches to the Palmerston Forts at the eastern end of the Solent.

RNLI

The RNLI is separate from the Coastguard, independent of the Government and relies on volunteers and supporters to run our lifesaving service. Ordinary people doing extraordinary things are at the heart of the RNLI and trained volunteers are at the centre of RNLI lifesaving around our coast.
